Player Profile - Ian "the Responsible One" Sanderson
|
|
Bio - Ian first starting playing for Old Habs while still a fresh faced choirboy, dropping anchor in the utility front row berth. He attended Leeds University and while there qualified as a referee... learning lessons which he has now forgotten if his penalty count is to be believed. Ian has a weird shaped chin, and if you were to try and draw Ian on Paint, you would only need to use a variety of circles and ellipses, as his body is entirely round in every direction, apart from his hair, which is very black and very straight. Like a Chinese man. He organised an "excellent" tour of Canterbury at the end of the 08/09 season, where a combination of his luck, judgement and loose morals got the whole team into clubs and curry houses with little hassle. Position - 1, 2, 3 Ian plays anywhere across the front row, a valuable commodity for any club side. He likes to think of himself as a mobile, try scoring prop, most other people like to think of him as a good hooker with little legs, who will occasionally flop over from half a yard. Most other people are more observant than Ian. Currently Ian is enjoying a fruitful partnership with his little brother in the Old Habs' front row, filling whichever of hooker or loosehead prop becomes available. The two of them love nothing more than a good scrummage and an argument about who gets to wear the big shorts. AKA - [insert] |
